Virtualizor alternative for KVM
KLYRN VM sells KVM machines with resellers, off-host backups and a billing API. Where it fits a Virtualizor estate, and where it does not yet.
What Virtualizor covers
Read on 21 October 2026, virtualizor.com says it supports KVM, Xen, OpenVZ, Proxmox, LXC and more. It lists a 15-day free trial and keeps prices on a separate page.
That breadth matters when you compare. If your estate runs OpenVZ, Xen or LXC, KLYRN VM is the wrong tool, because it manages KVM only.
What KLYRN VM is
KLYRN VM is a panel for selling KVM virtual machines. It is a separate product from the KLYRN Web hosting panel.
It has customer accounts, resellers, backups to another server, a console in the browser, an API and webhooks.
Moving a Virtualizor estate
There is no Virtualizor import yet. A guided import that reads the estate and takes over hosts in place is planned. It is the same path SolusVM 2 owners have today.
Until then, run KLYRN VM beside Virtualizor. Put new nodes and new customers on KLYRN VM, and leave existing machines where they are.
When the import arrives, it will follow the SolusVM 2 rules. The first pass only reads. A host is taken over while its machines keep running, and no machine gets a new address. Customers choose a new password, because old ones are never copied.
Billing
A billing API is documented and works with any billing system today. A WHMCS module is built and tested against a live controller. It has not run inside a live WHMCS, so it is not released yet.
What it costs
The first compute node is free, with every feature and no time limit. Each node after it is $5 a month. The pricing page has the detail.
Next step
Try it on one spare KVM server. Install the controller on its own server:
curl -fsSL https://get.klyrn.com/vm | sudo bash
Then add the spare server as your first node. Nothing on your Virtualizor hosts changes.
