What cPanel costs in 2026, and a panel priced per server
cPanel prices by account, from $29.99 a month for one. Here are the four tiers as published today, and what KLYRN charges per server.
The four cPanel tiers
We read cpanel.net/pricing on 21 October 2026. cPanel sells four tiers, and each one counts accounts.
- Solo: $29.99 a month for 1 account.
- Admin: $35.99 a month for up to 5 accounts.
- Pro: $53.99 a month for up to 30 accounts.
- Premier: $69.99 a month for up to 100 accounts, then $0.49 for each extra account.
The page lists prices without VAT. It offers 8.4% off with annual billing on Solo, Admin and Pro. Prices change, so check the page on the day you decide.
What counting accounts means
On cPanel, the bill follows the number of accounts on the server. A server that grows from 30 accounts to 31 moves from Pro to Premier.
That suits a host whose customers expect cPanel by name. It is harder on someone who runs many small sites on one machine.
What KLYRN charges
KLYRN counts servers. Free covers one server and five sites, with no card. Pro is $9 per server a month, or $90 a year, with no limit on sites, domains, databases or accounts.
Your sites never depend on a licence check. If KLYRN cannot reach the licence service, sites, backups and certificate renewals keep working. The pricing page has every edition.
What is different besides the price
KLYRN runs nginx on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, x86_64 only. It does not run .htaccess. On migration it translates the rules it understands and lists the rest by file and line.
cPanel also runs on AlmaLinux, CloudLinux and Rocky Linux. If your servers must stay on those, KLYRN is not for them yet. The cPanel alternative page has the sources for each point.
Try it beside your cPanel server
Install KLYRN on a spare Ubuntu 24.04 server:
curl -fsSL https://get.klyrn.com | sudo bash
Then bring one account across with a pkgacct archive or an SSH login. The cPanel migration guide covers both, and the old server keeps serving until you change DNS.
