An order in WHMCS becomes a running machine.
The KLYRN VM module connects your billing to your machines. A paid order creates the machine, and suspending, upgrading or cancelling in WHMCS does the same in KLYRN VM. The module is not released yet. The API it uses is.
What the module does
- CreateBuilds the machine on the plan and system the product names.
- Suspend and unsuspendShuts the machine down or cuts its network, and puts it back. Disks are never touched.
- Upgrade or downgradeResizes the same machine. The address stays.
- CancelDeletes the machine, and asks for confirmation first.
- Log inTakes your customer from WHMCS straight into their machine.
- UsageReports disk and traffic for each service.
Safe when WHMCS retries
- No double machinesIf WHMCS sends the same order twice, you still get one machine.
- Safe after a migrationA service whose machine already exists is linked to it. Nothing new is built.
- A limited keyThe module uses a key that can only provision. It cannot see your hosts.
Not released yet
Every function has been tested against a live KLYRN VM controller. It has not been run inside a live WHMCS, so you cannot download it yet. The billing API it uses is documented and works with any billing system today.
