Backups stored on a separate server
KLYRN VM backs up each machine to a separate server while it runs, on a schedule that starts the day the machine is created.
KLYRN VM sends backups to a separate backup server. If a host is lost, its backups are not lost with it.
How it works
A machine is backed up while it runs. Each host uses its own key, and that key can only deliver backups to its own folder on the backup server.
From the first day
Every new machine gets a backup schedule when it is created. The Backups page shows how many machines are protected and lists any that are not.
Restoring
You can restore a backup onto the same machine or as a copy beside it. If a backup fails, the panel tells you what went wrong and tries again.
